Maxwell's 1st Birthday Party

October 29th will forever be etched in my memory as the day my life totally changed for the better, and learned what it truly means to love someone unconditionally! I love my husband more than I could put into words, but there is a different type of love when it comes to your children, and I know he feels the exact same way. This past 16 months has been one that entailed every emotion that I could think of. Motherhood is something that people say is the greatest thing, and it is! It also is stressful, extremely busy, tiring(lack of sleep... and then running after them when they learn how to walk lol), a thankless wonderful mess of trying to get everything organized and as soon as you think you do it is back crazy again. Yes, people told me when I was pregnant to get rest and what was to come, but you TRULY do not understand until you are in it! I could write a book about what it is like as a first time mom, but I will leave that to another post. More than anything I want to continue to celebrate this beautiful life that God allowed me to be a mother to. Maxwell is the happiest, most loving, playful, kiss giving, waving buh by, running away from Mama, and truly handsome baby that I know. I am not biased he only cries when he in hungry, tired, or doesn't feel well... this doesn't apply to when he wants to throw a tantrum! It really isn't possible for me to be upset around him. He always has a smile on his face. And as many people say they don't remember their first birthday party, and don't really know what is going on. My baby was so happy, and it was like he knew we were there to celebrate him and his first year of life!

His Party was a theme Winnie the Pooh! As a Child I LOVED Winnie the Pooh, so it was only fitting that I pass it down to my son! His Party turned out just as I envisioned! The food was good which I cooked all of with the help of my mom, decorations worked out perfectly for the venue, and we had an awesome turnout from both sides of our family! I hope you enjoy living through the pictures!

What a Busy 2 Years it has been... I am BACK!

It is hard to believe that it has been TWO years since my last post! And may I add it has been an exciting, whirlwind, BLESSED, emotional, celebratory two years! I was engaged during the last post I made... since then I have gotten married to my loving husband, had our first son, Maxwell, and we just celebrated his first birthday in October! If that isn't enough we just decided we are going to sell our house and move... crazy right, but the lord has truly been working and has blessed us in ways we didn't even think was possible. Here are some picture documenting the last couple of years.
